Scattered Lives: Entering the Design Phase

After a long period of gathering, checking, and preserving the material behind Scattered Lives, we’ve reached an important new stage: the design phase.

Much of the work so far has involved gathering, organizing, checking, and preserving the material behind the book — family memories, Moh’s Baby Boek, photographs, letters, records, historical context, and the many small details that had to be pieced together carefully.

Now the focus is shifting toward how the book itself will look and read on the page. We’re working through layout, typography, image placement, chapter openings, spacing, readability, and the overall presentation of the public edition.

It is an exciting point to reach because, for the first time, Scattered Lives is beginning to feel less like a collection of material being assembled and more like the physical book it is becoming.

This will be the first major publication from Berlijn Lusink Press, and we’re looking forward to sharing it when it is ready.

There is no fixed publication date yet. We would rather take the time to finish it properly than rush it for the sake of a deadline.

Updates on progress, publication, availability, and ordering will be posted here as the work continues.
